What you’re in for
Three marathons in three days down the north Cornwall coast on the South West Coast Path, Padstow to Land's End, from a base at St Ives Bay Holiday Park. Day one and two are 42.2km, day three 44.3km. Early October. You can enter a single day or all three.
Terrain and trail
The north Cornwall coast path: cliff steps, headlands, beaches at low tide and dune, with the climbing in hundreds of short pulls rather than one hill. Wind off the Atlantic. Self-navigated on the coast path's own waymarks. A trail shoe with grip.
