What you’re in for

Forty miles of Atlantic coast in a day, Fistral Beach at Newquay to St Ives Bay, on the South West Coast Path, with thirteen hours. Early October, on the same weekend as the three-day challenge.

Terrain and trail

Cliff path, beach and dune from Newquay to Hayle — Perranporth's sands, the cliffs of St Agnes and Portreath, the long beach into Hayle. Relentlessly up and down, exposed to the sea wind. A trail shoe with grip.
