What you’re in for
Just outside the Lake District proper, in the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape, on gentler trails around Leighton Hall with Morecambe Bay in view. A 10k and a 21k, the longer one as challenge or race. Hard-packed scenic trail with the occasional muddy section. Water stations through the half and one at about 5.8k on the 10k. Well marked and marshalled.
