Cut-offs
Much of the route is permanently waymarked as Lady Anne's Way and NAV4 supply route notes and a GPS file, but they call basic map and compass navigation highly desirable. Starts 09:00 Saturday; finishing times run from fifteen to thirty hours. Drop bags go to Kettlewell at 23 miles, Askrigg at 38 and Winton at 61, with water points every six to eight miles between.
Train for it: routes near the start
Routes starting within 20 km of Skipton Castle, Skipton, North Yorkshire, nearest first. Each one has a free GPX file and a TRP grade, so you can rehearse the ground before race day.
