Cut-offs
Waymarked as per the National Park and Ullswater Way signs, with extra event signage at key points. Start when you like between 08:00 and 10:00 — they ask slower walkers to go early and faster runners later. The Challenge route adds the high fell path around the head of Glencoyne and wants basic fell skills.
Train for it: routes near the start
Routes starting within 20 km of Parkin Memorial Hall, Pooley Bridge, Cumbria, nearest first. Each one has a free GPX file and a TRP grade, so you can rehearse the ground before race day.
