Hardmoors

North York Moors · 14 races listed

Hardmoors has been putting on races across the North York Moors since 2008. The series runs from a seven mile evening race up to a 200 mile crossing, and most of it follows the Cleveland Way — the coast between Saltburn and Filey, the escarpment above Sutton Bank, and the moor tops in between. The ultras are the names most people know: the 55 from Guisborough to Helmsley in March, the 60 along the coast in September, and the 110 and 160 that string the whole thing together. Alongside them runs the 26.2 series — six weekends that each offer a trail marathon, a half and a shorter race on the same ground, which is the easiest way into the moors if the ultras are a step too far. They sell out. Entries go through SiEntries and the popular ones go early.
