What you’re in for

A 5km, a 10km or a half marathon in Bramham Park, the Grade I listed estate between Leeds and Wetherby just off the A1, in April. Twelve hundred acres of woodland with established trail paths through it, taking in the estate's statues, follies and views. The 5km is 5.1km with 43m of climb, the 10km 10.1km and 96m, the half 21.1km and 192m. The 5km and 10km are pitched at first-time trail runners; the half is the longer tour of the woods.

Terrain and trail

Well-established trail paths and estate tracks through mixed woodland, with grass and gravel between. Gently undulating and mostly firm; April mud in the shaded rides. A road shoe with tread or a light trail shoe.
